Marcus

This is part image manipulation (sort of) and part creation by me. The original came off the Gears of War cover art. The base image was extracted, and then used to stencil out the lineart. After the lineart was complete, I then textured and painted the image using a Wacom tablet and Photoshop. Finalization was done in Lightroom.

Marcus has been highly upscaled, reworked and painstakingly massaged to keep as much of the nuances that are "Marcus" intact, but with all new textures and paint. Suffice it to say that much of the work is my own, but I will not take complete credit, since the original character and subject image was created by Epic Games.
